I'm home after another fabulous weekend at the Scrapbook Expo in Somerset, NJ. My bestie, Andrea Frank, and I have been attending since 2005, long before it became the Expo. It's my favorite weekend of the year, filled with scrapping, shopping, classes, demos, make 'n takes, collecting buttons, old & new friends. One of the things I was most looking forward to seeing demoed were the Nuvo Crystal Drops, and they didn't disappoint! I headed right over to the Sparkle 'n Sprinkle booth, and there they were, in all their glory! Sharon was at the demo table, and she showed me a lot more than just the Crystal Drops. Oy! My wallet! lol Anyways, I ended up buying the full set of Glossy colors, and the full set of Pearls/Metallics. I couldn't wait to get home to create color charts. After searching the web, and having no luck, I decided to create my own, so here they are. I don't know how to post the files here for you to print out, so if you'd like my file, comment below with your email and I'll send them to you.
Projects, techniques & tutorials of my mixed media art, stamping & scrapbooking. My art is inspired by many ... Tim Holtz, Wendy Vecchi, Jennifer McGuire, Laura Bassen, Richele Christensen, Marjie Kemper, Seth Apter, to name a small few. I've been doing this for over 15 years, and there's always something new, and more to learn. I love to teach & share what I learn!

Creative Chemistry 103
It's been a busy & hectic summer, so I just got started on my Tim Holtz Creative Chemistry 103 classes yesterday. I usually take my time to enjoy my online classes, but I wanted to do some classes while they were actually running for a change. Yesterday was Day 5, Alcohol Ink on Yupo, so I decided to start with that so I can post in the gallery.
I had so much fun making my tags, that I even went a little further and created bigger pieces to put on cards. I'll have to post those when I'm done with them. In the meantime, here are my technique tags:

Splattered Flowers. So much fun, I made another!
Splattered Flowers
Stamp Resist

Liquid Landscapes
I'm going kayaking with Rick tomorrow, so hopefully, when we're done, I'll still have some mojo, and I take more classes!
